Watercolor pouch 2

Watercolor pouch 2

This is a watercolor pouch that I made myself, and every tools in it is mini size, so the pouch is very small. Today I’m going to show you what is inside of the pouch!

It contains some of my favorite essentials: my beloved mini journaling notebook, a Pilot Custom Heritage 912, a watercolor palette, a Winsor & Newton brush, and a mini water bottle!

The watercolors I’m currently using are Winsor & Newton, but not the professional line. Maybe because of that, I sometimes notice that the paint cracks or breaks apart after drying in the palette.

Previously, I used Schmincke Professional watercolors, and when dried in the palette, all of the colors stayed smooth and had incredibly beautiful color quality.

The paints shown in the palette in the YouTube video are Schmincke Professional watercolors, while the paints shown in the photo are Winsor & Newton’s regular/student line.

Once I finish using up my current paints, I would love to switch back to Schmincke Professional again.

Anyway, I made this pouch so I could take my mini journal with me anywhere and use it outdoors. But because the pouch is white, I cherish it so much that I’ve never brought it outside even once. 😂

Instead, I’ve just been carefully keeping it safe this whole time. lol

Maybe next time...
