This is a laptop cover I made myself. Most laptop covers come as pouches or bags with handles, but since I mostly use my laptop at home, I found that style a bit inconvenient. I wanted something as simple as possible—like an iPad cover—that integrates with the laptop itself, so I can easily open and close it. I also liked the idea of having the white cover visible whenever the laptop is closed.
I searched online for a while but couldn’t find a design I liked, so I decided to make my own. I used white faux leather and, instead of gluing it directly to the laptop, I placed a thin white sheet between the laptop and the leather, then applied glue on top of the sheet. That way, if I ever want to remove the cover, I can take it off cleanly.

I didn’t want to hide the window logo on my laptop, so I cut the leather to fit the size of the logo.

I had to leave a small gap where the monitor folds over, but because of the thickness of the leather, it can’t be fully folded to tablet mode, but I wanted a laptop cover that I liked, so it was ok for me.

Here’s what my laptop cover looks like. It’s not perfect like the ones sold, but I’m happy with it and it looks good enough.
